Contact the desk
How to send a document, a correction or a question to The Mower Shed, and what this desk can and cannot answer.
The Mower Shed reads documents and questions from readers who work on a course or keep turf of their own. The desk answers by mail, at its own pace, and publishes the useful part of an exchange in an entry when it adds something a reader can check.
What to send
A document this desk does not have is the most useful message: a soil survey page, a wetland determination, an extension bulletin, a parts list or a service manual for a mower or an irrigation component. A correction with the source attached is the second most useful message. A question about a specific job comes third, and it helps when it says what kind of grass, what machine and which month of the year.
What this desk cannot answer
The shed does not answer a diagnosis on a specific green, a treatment plan, a cost estimate for a property, or a request to recommend a contractor or a product.
Languages
Entries are written in American English. A question may be sent in English or French; the answer comes in English.
